Support Team
An early stage trial in the US has shown promising results for a new treatment TH-302 for advanced pancreatic cancer patients. The trial found that the combination of TH-302 with gemcitabine caused tumour shrinkage and prolonged life compared to gemcitabine alone. It is likely that further trials of the treatment will be needed to confirm these results.http://www.thestreet.com/story/11425936/1/threshold-drug-delays-pancreatic-cancer.html?cm_ven=GOOGLEN
suef
That sounds like great news. I wonder if those trials will be replicated in the UK.
CamilleScott
A malignant pancreatic tumor is quite threatening as it does not only create physiological pain but probably a state of despair for affected individuals. The point that it could be incurable can cause a considerably more extensive suffering than it already is. The reality is that there may be still a chance of success with the whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer stages as it can be remedied with this operation. More info concerning the Whipple procedure can help you discover the consequences of the process.
