Three new studies published by The Lancet today suggest fresh evidence that an aspirin a day may help prevent cancer.

Alex Ford, Chief Executive says:

"Pancreatic Cancer UK is very interested in the new research into the benefits of taking aspirin in terms of preventing cancer and reducing the risk of it spreading to other organs. The charity would welcome more research into the benefits of aspirin - we would also strongly encourage anyone who is considering taking aspirin on a daily basis to first seek advice from their GP."
