Hello Gunner,

Sorry you are in such a state. Migraines are my specialist subject, I suffer from chronic migraine and yes I get constipation, stomach pains, bloating and sometimes diarrhoea (although mostly that would be a welcome relief) along side them. My appetite is also affected as often I feel nauseas and sometimes what I like one day I can't stand the thought of the next. And sometimes I am in simply too much pain from my head to move my jaw. The other thing about migraine is that the headache is just one symptom, so other symptoms may continue long after that has gone. I have been in the midst of an attack for 3 and a half weeks now and my stomach is still not working properly. I also get a pre stage and a post stage which can throw up all sorts of symptoms ranging from extreme tiredness to feeling like I'm getting the flu.

Some people experience silent migraines where they have a migraine without the headache. Which migraine medication did you take? It might be worth while keeping a headache diary to see if they are the root cause of your problems.

Good luck

Catherine xxx

i took some nasal spray, not sure what the name was.

i also have very aching pains in arms, wrists, stomach back and shoulders.

and my stomach is constantly making noises, plus if I use the palm of my hand and drag down on my stomach hard, I can hear squizing.

And I think my stools contain fat, but I'm not sure! They look pretty greasy and sticky but I cant see any "oil spill " like drops on the water. Sometimes they float, sometimes they sink sometimes I get several loose ones and just one of them floats.

Appetite is the worst and just a feeling of catching a fever or something but I don't have fever.

Just wondering thought, whare are the chances they overlooked something on the Eus in november and that it has grown and spread by now? given that he said the examination was good.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply - I've been suffering with my head and haven't been able to look at my laptop. It sounds as if you had zomig nasal spray for your migraine. Have you been back to the doctors?

i doubt this is caused by migrenes, latest news is doctor has ordered new mri. and a blood test called chromogranin. for hormones neuroendocrine etc

but i dont now. my stools are still loose but come more often. 2 days day have actually been almost black. deep dark brown. and sometimes undecisive colors.

but isnt it so that diarrhea is more common in cancer of the head of pancreas? since that will block all digestive juices? one in the body or tail would still let the juices run right?

but doctor still is pretty sure about his case. that i do not have anything life threatening.... how can he know just from some blood tests

i mean i had symptoms early september but i did not have pain ,now i have more pain then i could imagine. thats what scare me and the loss of interest in food and fluids. though i can eat only not enyoing , and stomach dont like me eating. got a bad case of gas to.

though i try to understand that they checked me 15 november with eus, its been 4 months since last time and pain got worse.

dont know what to believe just trying to get some reassurement.

could it be could it not be, i have diarrea but no jaundice etc!

new mri came back normal.and i have officially given up- been sent for second opinion to anohter hospital but i doubt theyll find something either.

so i diagnose my self with chronic fatigue syndrome and ibs since no one wants to give me any answers since my worst symptoms now are ,muscle weakness in legs . the stomach pain with/followed by smelly gas. and somewhat loose stools with some mucus. sometimes floating sometimes not.

burping.

upper back pain on both sides.

constant headaches and pressure in head.

confused.

theres probably more that i cant remember.

tired all the time(but i dont find resting satisfying. do not feel like doing things i like.

ive read cfs can cause intestinal problems as well. and that there is a link between that and ibs.

Hello there, just a thought have you been tested for celiac / gluten intolerance? That can cause all the symptoms you describe. Really good news that nothing sinister is showing on your MRI. Take care, Catherine x
