dmc236 Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 does anyone have any insight/experience or infomation around vitamin D defficiency and how it affects the condition or is affected by it ?I notived a post by anne showing research around vitamin A, and am aware that malabsorption can reduce all mineral and vitamins available for the body to use.regardsdmc236

AnneD Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Hi dmc,There is some information here:http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/prevention/vitamin-D#q8 ( Point 10 )but apparently the evidence from two studies is conflicting.One says that people with higher levels of vitamin D have a lower risk of pancreatic cancer, the other shows no effect. As always, more research needs to be done.Anne.
