Then 3 weeks later have a CT scan.. Last week the gp rings me and says the ct didn't show enough. You need a endoscopy (not had it yet) then two days ago the gp rings again he says he heard from the hospital and they are looking at my scans imminently. But said I have a fullness in the pancreas. And a multi disaplinary meeting will decide the next steps SO HAVE I GOT CANCER? this is awful please can anyone help
PCUK Ellie Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Hi Kerry, You might find answers to some of your questions about the different tests - what they're looking for and what the results mean - here: www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/information/how-is-pancreatic-cancer-diagnosed. Waiting for test results can feel really scary, but endoscopies aren't exclusively used for pancreatic cancer, and as others have said there are other conditions which may explain some of the symptoms you've been having. The specialist nurses on our Support Line are here for you if you have questions about pancreatic cancer or the process of getting diagnosed. You can call 0808 801 0707, or email nurse@pancreaticcancer.org.uk. If you're feeling worried I'd really encourage you to get in touch. Best wishes, Ellie - Pancreatic Cancer UK
