Hope76 Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Hi all! I want to introduce myself and my case for the hope find some experienced tips and information. All started last december 2018 when my sweet beautyful wife 42 years old started to burp a lot ( more than 30 per day ). We waited to see if passed but in January 2019 went to doctor who make a blood test and H pylori test. H pilory became negative and the blood test was ok but a little bit of anemia. Passing the time the burps stoped a little bit ( now its about 10-15 ) but in March I saw his nails looked like Terry nails who is linked to diabetes, kidney and liver diseases. At that moment I thought was about anemia the reason but 2 months ago I started to learn about PC and was very afraid about Diabetes. So last month I went to pharmacy yo check my wife sugar and the EaG becames 4,6% which is normal but his blood sugar was 58 at this time. Next week went again to doctor to explain my concerns at in the next day went to check again his blood sugar who become in 78 ( in the normal range ). At the time I saw the stools became brighter but no floating or oily and was very worried again despite my wife told me her stools looks always like that. Finally I broke myself in tears explaining my fears and she told me if she got cancer she dont wanna know.Im totally devastated about my wife can get cancer and I can not do anything cause she dont want to check anymore. Im full of doubts and can not sleep even enjoy the life cause always got that fear on my mind. Sometimes I feel better thinking about all is in my mind cause in those 8 months she dont drop any kg, pain or jaundice, but on the other side always think about her stools and burps and make me think about the worst again.I know here nobody will give me a prognosis, but any information, tips and suggestion will be graetly thankfull.Sorry for this long post and my bad english and thanks a lot all of you.

Thank you for your post although I am so sorry to hear that your wife has been feeling unwell recently and that it is understandably a great worry to you. Hope76 I think the priority here is for your wife to return to see the GP for some further investigations, there are other more common reasons that people can experience such symptoms so please be reassured by this, particularly given her young age.I imagine these symptoms are affecting her quality of life and certainly the situation is causing you a great deal of anxiety so I wonder would you like to discuss this with us in more detail Hope76? you can call our support line, our number is shown below and our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-4pm. Hope76 Posted August 6, 2019 Author Posted August 6, 2019 Hi there Nici. Thanks for your reply. My wife does not want come back to doctors cause she told me and ensure me she feels good. Those burps doesnt bother her as long those decreased along this time, about 10-15 times now. When started burping in december she feel bothered thats the reason we went to doctor cause she burped a lot, more than 30 per day. I know she feel bad watching me like this and I feel worst when she told me if she got cancer dont wanna know. At this point only can do only pray God she is ok. My only confortable feeling is in 8 months she doesnt loose any kgs and guess if she got this nasty disease in 8 months could happen something, I dont know....Anyway thanks a lot for your reply
