Levi1
Update:We have just been to a consultation and we have been given good and bad news. Bad news first so we end on a high.... They have found a hole in the spine nearly 2cm big so now that has taken priority over the pancreas. Mum will have to have a high dose of radiotherapy which will hopefully lay whatever was there dormant. They said the tumour must of been hiding it and only noticeable now because it's left a big hole. Good news is that the chemo (gem cap) has removed the shadows that were near lymph nodes and reduced the tumour by 7mm, which at the start they said don't get our hopes up about the main tumour being reduced. So we are very happy about that obviously!! Her ca19.9 is now reduced to 123 from 560 at the beginning. Massive mixture of emotions at the moment, but taking it as a positive at the moment. I hope you all are doing as well as can be. Love to all X
