Sore Mouth

On 4th Folfirinox cycle. Experiencing very sore mouth, finding it painful to swallow, any ideas about how I can get any relief?

I was given Difflam oral rinse for this though never actually used it. I did get some mouth ulcers for a few days after the latter few cycles. I used Corsedyl mouthwash regularly, unless the ulcers were too bad.

You poor thing.

Yes, ask for a prescription for Difflam. Jonathan had mouth ulcers and a sore mouth and this did help. I also bought him some mouth ulcer pastels (from Superdrug) which also helped a little I think. Oh, and he used a chapstick for his lips too as they got a bit cracked in the corners of his mouth.

Don't use a mouth wash with alcohol in if you can.

Hopefully your mouth will feel more comfortable as the cycle continues.
