Folfirinox / Tolerance/ Dose Reduction

Postby Dandygal76 » Thu Jan 12, 2017 10:35 am

This is an interesting article posted on Nanoknife Warriors. Something to perhaps ask the oncologist about if there are tolerance issues around Folfirinox.

Many thanks for posting the link DG.

When my hubby was on folfirinox it was a reduced dose from the start plus he had to miss a couple of treatments. If I'd had this info at the time I probably would have been more relaxed about him getting less of the drug than other people.

Hubby's reduced dose was enough to make him operable so his experience supports what the article says, that lower dose folfirinox can be equally effective against PC.
