New number and change in regimen.

Greetings all:

Finished treatment #5 today and my CA19-9 marker was down to 1382 from 2505 at treatment #4. The dysarthria went away with the drug so that's out of the regimen for now and he may substitute gemcitabine at a later date.

Great news about the tumour markers Mike! Hope they continue to come down.

That's good news Mike. The dysarthria must have been bad. I get it mildly for a few hours after the Irinotecan, though it seems to be less severe now than it was after the first couple of cycles.

Good news re the markers.

I'm interested to know what your regime is now? Also interested in the suggestion of substitution for gemcitabine as this sounds very similar to my partners options.
