pop Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 My beloved husband suffered obstructive jaundice & resultant kidney failure in June. Tho he is 75, he was in tip top health. He is being considered for surgery, but went down with c.diff, in hospital, now much improved, and has almost no appetite. (No cooked, hot food). How can I build him up to withstand surgery? His legs/feet & right arm are also v. swollen.
sharmayo Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Ensure drinks and the most blanded foods such as porridge, rice pudding. That was all my dad could tolorate.Sharon
