dmc236
Ive been for scan results this week.gallbladder shows no stones and function is normal. main pancreas duct shows 'concerning' dilation for full length and ipmn at head of pancreas, which they feel could account for transient symptoms in gallbladder...pain/nausea and dark urine with itchy skin. this seems to last a few days at a time before spontaneously resolving when i vomit usually.doctor said ipmn remains benign at the moment and compared to previous scans shows minor changes. he did say its a fifty percent chance it will become cancerous but no way of knowing how long that may take.so the plan at moment is to continue monitoring and i go back for review in six months. so feels a bit of a relief at moment...with kind of worry hanging over me for the future though.
