sadiepup
I recently applied for attendance allowance following 6 months chemotherapy and then a Whipple operation but it has been turned down .Should I ask for a mandatory consideration
Veema
I was under the impression that pancreatic cancer was a qualifying disease and should be accepted. I suppose it depends on the prognosis...I think life expectancy has to be 6 months or less, which hopefully, following the treatment isn't the case. Have you got a palliative care team? They may be able to advise further, or give the nurses a ring. Let us know how you get on, as I'm always advising people to claim!Vx
