Help !!!

Hi I’m Robert aged 46. I’ve been suffering a lot for the past 5 months and finally got a results back from MRCP with 1 cm cystic lesion on the head of my pancreas. Given the constant abdominal pain and back ache I’ve been suffering and terrible wind I’m convinced this is malignant. I’m hoping that it might be operable given the size. If anyone is out there who can spare a few minutes to chat about life that would be really appreciated... I’m feeling lonely and scared atm

Thank you for your kind and comprehensive email.

I will be undergoing an endoscopic examination next Tuesday to have a look at the duodenum to see if there is any ulceration there and then I will hopefully be referred for an endoscopic ultrasound of the pancreas and the cysts within it for a better evaluation of what’s going on. I have been reassured that I will be transferred to the care of the HPB team at one of the NHS specialist centres should that be necessary. This is obviously a very anxious time and thank you for your support both in the email and over the phone.
