Abraxane in England - any update?

A query for PCUK:

Is there any update regarding the CDF's 2015 delisting of Abraxane for patients in England. I believe that NICE is meant to be reviewing this disgraceful situation?

Pancreatic Cancer UK are aware that this is on the agenda for NICE to be re-appraised however we have not been given a date at this point in time. We will update once we have some confirmation from NICE.

Many thanks Jeni, I hope we hear soon and that it's something to celebrate.

I've seen numerous U.S. articles recently that refer to Abraxane (with Gemcitabine) as being/becoming the standard of care. It's so galling that it's only available in England to private patients and those on trials.
