Research breakthrough may lead to new PC treatments

Some exciting research news was published yesterday regarding the protein CXCR2's role in PC and how it may be targeted in the future for new PC treatments.

I also keep reading the 3% statistic but I am not sure this is relevant so much unless you are stage IV. Thank you again for your recent post in relation to CXCR2 and its role in relation to pancreatic cancer.

Well done and you are certainly fantastic at sharing your research findings, which is great!

Again this research looks very exciting and potentially promising. Our research team were aware of its release yesterday and Leanne Reynolds our Head of Research has commented:

‘the area of immunotherapy is proving to be a really important weapon against many cancers, for example in blood cancer, but pancreatic cancer is much tougher to treat. While this research is in early stages and not yet progressed to humans, the results looks promising and we’ll be keen to keep an eye on the progress of this world-leading team’.

Again, lets watch this space!
