Thinking of you, Sheena. Glad Steve is comfortable and that he is still getting 'party moods'! He will leave when he is ready, not before.

Sheena, you are one very brave, special lady! Your last post brought tears to my eyes. I am so pleased to hear Steve's comfortable in the hospice.

What an amazingly special place this forum is when we can all talk about passing, without fear of upsetting anyone.

Take care

Well my friends I have been at the hospice since Wednesday and I am still here.Steve doesn't want to pass yet ,Dr has been twice and really don't no why or how he is holding on .I guess he was always stubborn and would like to think he is having a nose around before he decides the best place.

Hi Sheena, my thoughts are with you both at this time. My husband Stewart was in the hospice for the last 3 weeks of his life. He went to sleep with the morphine for 12 days before he let go. We all wondered how or why he was holding on! I came to the conclusion it would be when he was ready and not when I, his family or the doctors said it was ok. I wish you both peace and strength.

Oh Dear Sheena,

I am so sorry to hear your news.

What an amazing fighter Steve was Sheena? And you were the most amazingly supportive and caring wife, by his side to the end, even through your own exhaustion.

I would like to offer our sincerest condolences from myself, and all the nurses on here Sheena. and of course, the wider charity. Our thoughts and sympathies go out to you.

May Steve now rest in peace.

Best wishes,

Jeni.

Dear Sheena,

My thoughts are with you at this tremendously sad time. I hope you will find some comfort in knowing that you couldn't have cared more or done more for Steve during his illness.
