Hi marie

I really feel for you hun, I don't think I could cope if anyone else in my family or friends developed cancer. I hope the treatment and cure for their cancers are better than for pc.

sending you strength and big hugs

Hi Marie

Really sorry to hear of the latest distressing news for you and your hubby. I was such a sad loss to the diplomatic core but I think you really have suffered enough with all the support you gave your own mother and father.

I am not aware of your husband's circumstances but providing he is able to do so then I do think he needs to take most of any burden that dealing with his Nan and father involves. You need to be taking care of yourself and not carrying all the troubles of the whole world on your shoulders or you will end up cracking up yourself and that will not benefit anyone. Sorry I've been a bit blunt but I do think some people, yourself included, face the danger of simply trying to carry every one's burdens without realising that we all have our limits both physical and emotional.

If you can just give all the support you can to your husband without getting too stressed out yourself. I know this will be more difficult for you to do than me to say as you are such a naturally caring person.

Love and Peace

Thanks guys and yeah Mike you're right, infact I believe I was more upset than he was. I don;t have the strength to do this one. Luckily she lives with my husbands mother so she has all the care she needs.

One of the reasons I decided against care work and nursing in general is pretty much for the reasons you have stated Mike.

I know I get too involved it could never be as bad as nursing my own mother BUT its still horrible to go through and am still recovering both physically and mentally so I have to let go and not carry this new one ..

Hugz back

I know just how difficult it is for someone as loving and caring as you are to take a step back and didn't mean to sound callous in my last post. Looks like you took it as it was intended just to try and safeguard you from taking on more than you could cope with.

Good meeting with my specialist yesterday and planning the way forward. Just have to wait for genetic test results to see if addition to chemo mix might help and in the meantime giving serious consideration to nano-knife. May just see how Mark and Sarah's Mum get on early in January. There is no rush as I'm feeling really well and still putting on weight. In fact I'll probably need to go on a diet after Christmas!!

Love and Peace (and hugs!)
