My poor mum has gone

Mistipop

Recommended Posts

My mum just couldn't take any more and passed away 5 months from the day of her diagnosis.

She was handed a death sentence, no treatment and no hope. We watched her suffer this dreadful disease but she never lost her humour and never failed to make us smile, even now.

I know I didn't write our story in great detail but it was so similar to many others i read. We know she is at peace now and genuinely believe she has already let us know she is ok as this morning a small white feather floated down in the path of my children who grabbed hold of it and have vowed to keep it forever.

Hi Mistipop

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mum.

This is a hateful disease, but your mum is at peace now. I know I'll be hearing similar words soon enough about my own mum and I know at first nothing will ease the pain, but take comfort from the love and strength you will receive from your friends and family, and our own "family" on here.

God Bless you and your family at this time and always.

Hi Mistipop,

So very sorry to hear about the passing of your mum.

I would like to echo all the messages of sympathy on here, by adding my own, and those of the charity staff. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Jeni.

I am so sorry for losing you mum. Hang in there, please. And as you said, she is fine now and wants you to be ok. So be strong and happy, as she can be happy and comfortable..

Dear Mistipop

Words are hard to find. My Mum is still trying to fight this awful disease. There are so many people sending you their thoughts and prayers.

Try to look after yourself
