feeling desperate

I have continual trips to the toiletbafter eating which is unresolved over12 weeks . this means \icannot start chemo and \iam basically house bound. I can see no light at the end of the tunnel and I am very depresseed and running out of options. anyone one line to talkto

First of all, I’m really sorry that you’re feeling low at the moment.


It’s great that you have an appetite and are able to eat. Have you spoken to your GP or a district nurse about your bowel movements? If not, I would suggest giving NHS 24 a call and seeing if a clinician there can come out and see you.

I’ve read that this is a common side effect but, can be managed. Are you taking any enzymes at the moment such as Creon?


I’ve recently been speaking to Macmillan for emotional support and they’ve been great a lending an ear. It can seem dark out there when you feel like this but, you are not alone.
