I hope you didn't mind me posting the loss of you dad on the forum, but I know we were all worried that things were not going well for him.
As the others have said he was a true inspiration, and held his own well amongst what is mostly ladies here.
Good to hear he still managed to get away on holidays, his love for you all shone through and I am sure you made lots of special memories.
I am glad he had a peaceful passing and that you were all there with him as he would have wanted you to be, hospices are such special places, my husband died in one too.and it is so reassuring to know there is always someone there should you need them.
I am sending "his girls" love and strength to get you through the next steps of this journey, and I will always remember Steve with a smile. please take care sandrax xx

Really saddened to hear this news, after 3 years and 3 months I'd like to have thought it was one in the eye for PC.

I was so sorry to hear this news.

Steve started posting on this site at the same time more or less that I did as my partner had been diagnosed as had some other of my forum friends. Steve was always upbeat and positive and at times we would all share a giggle. I remember one time a few of us partners bemoaning putting on weight due to cooking and eating more calorific meals with our partners. We decided that maxi dresses on holiday were the way forward, at which point Steve piped in from a sun bed in (I think) Spain saying he hadn't bought a maxi dress but he wished he had. Steve was an inspirational person and he gave hope and support to many people posting on here. All my love to Margaret, Paige and Holly.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for such wonderfull words from everyone about my amazing Dad, it is so comforting to see that so many people saw what an incredible person he was. Sandra I am not at all upset about you posting about my Dad passing away, in fact the opposite, it means a lot to see that people were concerned for how he was doing. I have actually followed everyone's stores since the day my Dad joined the forum in 2013 so whilst people may not be familiar with me I certainly feel I have followed so many peoples stories along the way. Best wishes to everyone.

Thank you for posting again. I know how hard it is to lose a special Dad, but I really do hope that it gives you comfort to see how much your Dad was thought of.
He helped so many people. My Dad never joined this forum but he knew all about your Dad, and asked about him often. I believe he gave my Dad some positivity to carry on fighting.
