Hi, I wondered if there is any advice anyone could give me, from their experiences, I have a PNET which was debulked in October, 2012, and at the moment I am on 28 injections, to control this. I was told at the time of surgery, I may become diabetic. [i lost the body and tail of my pancreas] My last blood test shows an increase in Alc levels - the range is 4 - 5.9 and mine is 6.3. My GP just told me to eat smaller portions and exercise, and she will repeat the test in six months. Does anyone have any information regarding this, would diet help, should I cut down on sugar - I know that a few members of this forum have had surgery, so any help would be very much appreciated, Carole.
