Folfirinox
Hi, can you tell me how long folfirinox has been used to treat pancreatic cancer and are there any recent data in terms of survival rates using this particular type of chemotherapy.
Thanks

I was diagnosed with PC and liver mets at the end of September 2018. I started chemo very quickly and had round 5 mid December. I choose to have a chemo break during the Christmas holiday because I wanted to enjoy the festivities and to be honest I haven't felt as well as I do at this present moment...

Re: My big brother
Hi Broomsgrove sister, I was given the same diagnosis in September 2018 and for a little while I did 'give up', I had lost a stone in weight, struggled to eat, couldn't walk far and felt like I had been given a death sentence at 58 years of age. I have just had round 4 of folfirinox and I must say t...

Getting confused with all the information

I was diagnosed in September 2018 with pancreatic cancer with liver metastases, the main tumour which is 62mm x 38mm is in the body of my pancreas and is encasing the splenic vessels and the common h...

Large liver
Hi, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and liver metastasis in September 2018. I have my 3rd round of chemo ((folirinox) on Thursday and whilst I am managing the chemo well and I appear to be a lot stronger, fitter and well in myself my liver remains quite large...…..will it shrink if the chemo ...

Re: Just diagnosed
Round 2 of chemo tomorrow, bloods were OK with my liver function being better than last time. I hope I tolerate it as well as I did with round 1, at least I have a better idea of what is to come. Hope everyone is ok. x
