Hi Sonia, I'm so sorry to read your post, you must be so scared and not being able to be there with your sister, my husband was told January 2014 he only had 3 months and he's still here with us, so the Docs can get it wrong sometimes,

Thanks Didge and kittykat So sorry to here your other half is in hospital Didge, we r lucky that way in belfast we have 3 hospitals within a 1 mile of us, Allen has decided to go back up the 10 mg of MST as his pain came back bad, so back to the drawing board as to why he is so zoned out, just watch...

Thanks everyone, Allen was put back on Volteral, which has 90% taken his pain away, he is still on MST 45mg AM/PM which we have always said didn't work, from last Thursday he has been zoned out a lot of the day, (but still walking the mountain with the dog) nearly to prove a point, so from Saturday ...

Hi Dianne, Thank you for your information, I have heard of pregabalin, but when Allens results were not good, I just put the list of painkillers in my bag, we were just zoned out, they have said the steroids in his chemo might take the pain away but when I see the doc next week with Allen I will say...

Omg thank you all for your replies, it has put my mind at rest, he is still in high spirits, playing his poker doing all nighters lol, he still has pain in his back, but can only take 3 volterol in 24 hours so on pain patches, there not great but he won't let it get him down, so back on Wednesday fo...

Haven't been in in a while hope everyone is doing good, soooo, allen got CT results on Monday his tumor has grown from 3cm to 4.2 in 2 months, doc putting him on Oxaliplatin with fluorouracil and folinic acid chemo ( FOLFOX or OxMdG) has any one got and advice on this it's every 2 weeks for 4 months...

Hi Julie, no we don't have a Macmillian nurse, even though Allen is terminal, he looks and acts very healthy, we have his back pain sorted looks like it was inflammatory, so he's on voltorle, it's scary, but we r living life to the full, just booked Newyork and a Caribbean cruise for Friday last min...
