Re: Mum's diagnosis

Thank you Sue, that is really good of you. We raised an amazing amount of money in Paul's memory for our local hospice, so hoping we can do an equally good job for PCUK with our walk. Just hope my poor old knees can hold out! Thank- you also to the lovely Rob and Carl. I really didn't expect any of ...

Re: Mouth ulcers

Hi Didge,
It's all such rubbish, the disease, the care, the constant fighting, my heart goes out to you both.
Remember others have had longer breaks from chemo and nothing has grown, so really hoping that happens in your bf's case.

Lots of love,

Nikki

Re: Wish someone would help him

Of course you can sponsor me Leila, that's lovely of you. I have set up the page but haven't sent it out to anyone yet, as family and friends were very generous donating to our hospice in Paul's memory, so I am waiting awhile before I ask again!

Re: Wish someone would help him

Hi Leila, I can't remember if there are oxcoydone patches, but there are some that work in the same way, so worth asking. Girls and I are ok, we miss Paul very much, but we try our best to be strong and make him proud. I have started my training for my 100km walk for PCUK in September with my friend...

Re: Wish someone would help him

Hi Leila, Wonderful to hear you are still doing such an amazing job fighting for your Dad, but how frustrating that your fight is so relentless, made worse by so much incompetence! Hope your Dad's pain is under control. Has your Dad tried any of the painkiller patches, and then he wouldn't have to w...

Re: Trevor's Story

My dear Sandra, I am so sorry to hear that you and Trevor are going through this, having been there, with them debating about putting drains in, trying and failing, I know how incredibly hard it is to keep picking yourself up, and keep going, but somehow you do, and you are such an amazing strong pe...

Re: What to Say ?

Hi Wacky, Haven't been here myself, but just wanted to see how everyone was and I had to reply to you. Glad the funeral went well, the send off, he clearly deserved. I have just had 4 nights in the Canaries with my youngest, a friend and her daughter (the eldest was up in Yorkshire for 5 days doing ...
