Re: Taking the plunge!

Hi everyone, Thought I would update as I haven't done so for a while. Finally we got started and first cycle of folfox successfully completed. Difficult to establish the side effects as pain killer juggling has remained ongoing, so if it's not been pain it's been nausea! I think (touch wood and lots...

Re: A bit of a worry....

Hi , Have been trying to post for days and the site hasn't let me on until day, so frustrating to read posts and not be able to respond! Cathy, I am sorry the scan wasn't fab, fingers crossed a bit more zapping will get in back under control, as you say at least it hasn't spread. Chris had four cycl...

Re: Devastated

Dear Sue, I have read your post with tears running down my face, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, as always there simply are no words but you are in my thoughts. Mick was diagnosed shortly before my Chris and at the same age and I think our children are similar ages, although their paths have bee...

Re: Swollen legs and abdomen advice

Hi Pam,
I can't answer your questions about the swelling and low albumin, but like others have said I am sure the nurses will be able to help.
What I do know is that you have come to a wonderfully supportive forum, we all know how scared you are , but you are not alone.
