Re: brother dying so much unresolved in his life

Oh dear, I am so very sorry things are going so badly and it sounds as if the oncologist is making things much worse. May I suggest that you phone or email the Support people of this website to ask for advice on how to handle the medical staff? They are very experienced in these matters and will be ...

Re: Update on my Dad

Dear Rachel,

That is wonderful news! I hope they will get him walking soon, zimmer frame or not, it does you a lot of good to be able to move, even just a step at a time, with all the tubes on stands trailing along behind him.

Thinking of you!

Re: My Amazing Mam, Advanced, Devastated. (Swallowing Help Pls)

Re: Lost my Father-in-law yesterday

Dear David,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this wonderful post at this difficult time in your life. I am glad the website has helped you, but furious that this tragic illness is so poorly diagnosed and treated.

My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Re: faecal incontinence

Dear All, A few weeks ago I posted on this rather embarassing topic, experienced after my Whipple, and my GP referred me to a consultant at the hospital. The meeting with the consultant went really well and he suggested I tried taking Questran. This is a prescribed medication that thickens the stool...
