Re: Mum's diagnosis

Hi Sue, so sorry to hear your mum is very weak. Please don't see it as giving up. My mums cancer was also more aggressive and she only lived 11 weeks after diagnosis. She didn't give up - to me it was a demonstration of her strength when she died. She was at peace , very strong and dignified. She wa...

Re: Mum's diagnosis

Hello Sue, I haven't been on this for a while. I am having a break from my face book addiction but I will message you via that. Please contact me anytime. My mum wanted to be at home and it was the right decision. My dad and I looked after her, with various nurses and carers popping in. Your preciou...

Re: Mum's diagnosis

Yes all good fingers crossed. At the mo they think no chemo or radio. I has a mastectomy and on an estrogen blocking tablet. Sadly if my mum had this she would still be alive. Take care and lots of love Xxxx

Re: Bye dad :(

So sorry to hear this, my mum passed away nearly a year ago - 11 weeks after diagnosis. It's a terrible disease. People will tell you lots of different things, but what I do know is let yourself grieve, cherish the memories and even though you won't feel like it at the moment it does get easier. At ...

Re: Wish someone would help him

You sound like a very special daughter. Its not easy seeing our loved ones in pain. I do hope the medics sort out his medication - I am sure there must be something that will help him. Take care and thinking of you,

Re: Mum's diagnosis

Hi Sue it sounds to me you are doing an amazing job. My mum died 11 weeks after diagnosis, never shed a tear but also we never really discussed her death. We chatted a little re the funeral songs - but your mum may not be at this stage yet- and may live for many months and be at your daughters weddi...
