Re: Carls story

Hi Rob,
Just checking in to see how everyone is as I do from time to time and saw that things are a bit worrying for you at the moment. I hope that this is one of those hurdles which can be behind you as quickly and easily as possible. Love to you and Carl,
Sara xx

Re: Carls story

Ah, love, I'm so sorry you have both been going through such a horrible time. The relentless treatments, tests, waiting for results... You must feel exhausted and desperate, let alone how Carl must be feeling. I really hope there is some bloody good news around the corner for you. Several of my frie...

Re: Carls story

Hi Rob, I don't really visit this forum now but I think of you and Carl often and was just wondering how you are both doing? My mum's house recently sold so no real reason to go back to Leeds now (live in the South) which feels very strange. I really hope you are both as ok as possible and send you ...

Goodbye to mum

Just wanted to let all you lovely, supportive people know that my mum passed away in the early hours of this morning. I'm just glad she is now peaceful. Thankyou everyone and I will be thinking of you all as you continue to battle on for yourself and those you love. Keep strong and have a happy year...

Re: Saying goodbye ...

I have just seen this and wanted to send you my love. My mum is in her last few days and it does, as you said, all feel unreal. I hope that you are ok and are being comforted by those closest to you, Sara xx

Re: Carls story

Hi Rob, haven't been here for a while but just seen your comments and hope things are moving by now. Mum was also treated in Leeds and we found the only way of anything happening quickly was via A and E. Shouldn't be that way but it just was. Sending love and best wishes for some better news for you...

Re: Not long left I fear

Hi Karen, hope you are ok. I am in a very similar situation with my mum. I don't know if you are nearing the end with your dad medically speaking but I am just getting used to taking a day at a time. Mum seems close to the end one day then a bit stronger the next, then back to being weak and still a...

Re: Honey!

The honey I mentioned initially is called Lifemel and it was recommended by a tv doctor! Its supposed to boost immunity etc during chemotherapy treatments. I have no idea how good it is but my mums blood cell count etc has remained very healthy throughout so who knows if its the honey or would have ...

Re: Mum's diagnosis

Hi Sue, hope things start looking up a bit for you and your mum once some positive intervention/treatment happens. I am in a similar situation with my mum but a bit further down the line. Try to keep calm and take some time for yourself as well as your mum but I do know how hard that is,
Sara x
