Hey Leila, Just caught up on you and your dad .. the runs needs to be checked out asap,he will probably get to the stage where he won;t want to eat and drink he needs to be checked for dehydration quickly .. docs can do way more for him and I agree Creon isnt going to solve the problem if creon isnt...

Aw leila, thanx for your kind words, at the time I was so exhausted but the urge to care for your loved one supercedes anything else..the thing is no medical professional will care as much as you..I can see this changing you...as you say you are normally a quiet person...and it does change you..you ...

oh leila, my heart bleeds for you, I found this initially with my mom she would fight against anything I had researched (mostly on this site) ... the district nurses are great BUT they aren't specialists and with varying degrees of knowledge, they will normally say speak to your macmillan nurse, the...

Hi arlene, so happy to hear the news, I suffer with hyper-tension myself and I get headaches a lot...My mom was the same, a few times she was released from hospital at 9pm, same as Cathy it was the long wait for drugs to be delivered to that department ... glad you are out of hospital now though .. ...

Hi there, I have seen instances of people needing repeated biopsys due to swelling in the pancreatic area ... I think most people have a somewhat distended abdomen just down to side effects from the disease itself (internal swelling) .. what you have to look for is a significant increase .. for bloc...

Hi Dom and welcome,

The itching is horrendous but mom was prescribed Questran sachets which really helped tremendously she took them 3 times a day they mopped up all the excess in her blood .. and you can get sugar free sachets..

aw nikki how awful but at least its not a blood clot thank goodness, although I don't envy him cellulitis either...that damn rollercoaster .. sometimes u just wanna time out and regroup and PC just has a habit of smacking you in the face every 5 minutes ..
