My mum has just finished her 8th and final cycle of gemcap and is awaiting her scan and then the much dreaded appointment with the specialist to get the results...we're not sure what happens after that though, the consult...

Re: Hello & Thank You
Hello Rustie, I am so so sorry to hear about your mum and too soon after your first post. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I wish you all the best with your campaigning but it is sad that it has to be done ....it shouldn't be necessary!
Love and hugs, Jacqui

Re: Feeling silly!
Thank you all for your replies...I will make appointment and hopefully my doctors will be more switched on and supportive than my mum's doctors who told her she'd pulled a muscle or just needed to change her diet! Will keep you posted And try not to think about it until I've seen the doc! You are al...

Dear lulu - I am so sorry to gear your sad news and I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday. I can't understand how you're feeling at the moment but I know I will be going through the same emotions sometime in the future as my wonderful mum was diagnosed in July but we're lucky she's still battling on an...

Re: Another 'newbie'
Hi Lulu - this is my first time writing on this wonderful site too and have taken great comfort and support by reading posts by so many going through the same horrendous journey. We all know exactly how you feel. My mother was diagnosed in July after being told by 3 doctors she'd pulled a muscle and...
