Re: How to stay positive?
Hi Girls, I feel for you, I have been on your journey with my Dad, no doubt it is a hard road to be on. For me when I look back, what helped me was the fact I alway took everything with a positive approach (hard I know!) and always held hope even to the final weeks with my dad. My dad took Chemother...

Re: My poor mum pushed from pillar to post
Dear Carolyn,
Sorry to read about your dear mum. I lost my dad 2 weeks ago and like yourself found the hospice a fantastic place and they made everything so much easier for dad. Such an awful disease and more needs to be done!

Re: Living day by day
Dear Sue,
Im so sorry and shocked to read your news about Pete. This is truly a dreadful disease and it makes me angry that it has taken another one of our loved ones.
Just take each minute, hour and day as it comes.
You are in my thoughts and prayers

Re: Living day by day
Hi Sue! Your words struck a cord with me as the hardest part for my dad was also that he was not the man he was before. Although on his good months he let nothing stop him, when he had energy he done lots of nice things, like going on family walks, picking my kids up from school and even painting a ...
