Re: Mum

Hi Louie I read your post with tears in my eyes, my normal state at the moment and I thought so its not just me then - talking to my Dad as though he was here. I feel like I am going mad, at the moment it seems harder than it did when he first died 7 weeks ago. I have been told a 1000 times to stop ...

I really understand about the decorations too, we didnt put any up this year. Will wait to see how we feel ...

Re: Another 'Mum' falls victim

Hi Mistipop You are not weak at all, this is a lot to take in so dont' beat yourself up. Your Mum needs you to be courageous right now and fight her corner for her. From what I have learnt about PC and what I learnt supporting my Dad through this, PC is as unique as the person it affects. There are ...

Re: Welcome to this new forum on coping with loss

I have only just found this discussion forum for coping with loss. It has been 3 weeks since I lost my Dad. Nothing prepares you for this, it doesnt matter who the person is , not even when it was kind of expected. I am totally heartbroken, it seems to be getting worse some days. Some days I do noth...

Hi Louie I am glad you are both hanging in there, it sounds like you are having some quality time with your Mum. My Dad never mentioned seeing people, but I actually think it is lovely whether she knows them or not. I would like to think these are angels that will look after you Mum when the time is...

Re: update on mum

I hope your Mum is comfortable no-one should be in pain or any discomfort. I can only agree with eve...
