Hi Gill-Keep smiling,I had my op 18 months ago.Take each day as it comes and dont worry too much about your food intake,your digestive system will "right" itself eventually.Its a massive op and we are all different with regards to recovery.Feel free to ask me anything!! Hi Helen- I suffered awefull constipation for a couple of months after my op,and tried a range of delights. I must say that the Movicol worked but i had to give it a few days and continued to take up to 4 sachets a day. Not the nicest drink. Again like the other reader senna can be very effective. A...

Hi Smilodon, I had whipples operation in Sept 2009 and was left with a hernia on the incision site.Its directly in the centre of the wound under my rib cage,and about four inches long. It was probably caused by excessive strain,and i can actually remember round about the time it may have been caused...
