My thoughts were exactly the same Mints,Pancreatic Cancer whatever form is pancreatic cancer and should be spoken out about,shouted out,the more people know about it the more people will at least donate to it and learn about it.

My heart goes out to you just spend special moments with your dad talking to him and being there.I shall never forget the special minutes with my dad those are so precious and will be with me forever.

sorry to hear about your wife.Spend as much time with her as you can,special moments. Have you had any input from the macmillan nurses? through the oncologist. It's probably your daughters own way of coping with the news. I had to keep a brave face to all the weeks my dad was ill,it was unbearable.b...

I am so sorry to hear about your husband.My advice is to spend those special moments together,even if it's watching a film you both enjoy or listening to some music.It's not easy i know,but try and enjoy some quality time together. Are you getting support from the macmillan nurses or district nurses...

Dear all,

yes i agree about the support.
I lost my dad to this cruel disease last May.He was 67,never smoked or drank and was only a little overweight.I still feel lost he was my companion,helped me down the path of life.

Hi Stravvie, I've heard the hospital you are talking about is one of the top ones in the world.They were good to my dad when he went there[he went for blood tests] but decided against the chemo.Sadly he is no longer with us. unfortunately i can't remember the name of the gell he was given to put in ...

I agree with Jackie,try and get your sister moved to a hospice,my dad went through the oncologist dr.through the hospital and got in that way.The hospice was able to get his pain under control and he was able to come home. the district nurses were great with him.
