Re: Palliative Care
Hello to you all jobby - there were a couple of occasions where my dad also saw and spoke to people who we couldn't see. He also did get confused toward the end - he would ramble a lot about things that didn't make sense to us. I think that is due to the changes in the body's metabolism - I found it...

It is difficult to say exactly how long anybody has left to live as everybody is different. However, there are things that tend to happen in the final weeks and days which ...

Hi Lotta, I'm sorry to hear about your Mum. This is a "remedy" for constipation that is supposed to work well - but I have no personal experience of it, I just read about it here last year (I've copied and pasted from the original post: [i]Here is a copy and paste of the recipe posted on JHH Online ...

Hi Just a quick note to say I'm away on holiday from tomorrow morning until 28th September. Last time I will have internet access is first thing tomorrow. We may have it on our island (we're having a fortnight in the Maldives) but I'm not sure. So, Barb, I will keep thinking of you and hoping that t...

Hi again Barb I'm Jan Holt on Facebook, I should be easy to find... I think it will sweep your email addresses and pick me up that way. I hope they manage to get the new scanner sorted before you to to see the Surgeon. Is Canadian Healthcare similar to American? I.e. will you be able to move things ...

Hi Barb I am replying here as I think you and Bill share an email address, hope that's ok. I am so sorry to hear about Bill. I am struggling to find words to say to you, to be honest. I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling. I will hope and pray for the best possible outcome for Bill... and...

Yes it's a good idea to make sure your mum describes exactly what is going on to her GP. My dad used to love his GP visiting (she came twice a week) as he always could have a good chat to her about what was going on (he had various minor things that needed sorting). After he died, his GP said that h...
