Re: Folfirinox..how many rounds?
Hi. I was diagnosed in Sept 2018 and have mets in my liver. I did 19 rounds of folfirinox, a lot of it was at 80% with the oxaliplatin being reduced to 60%. I enjoyed a 14 month chemo break but my last scan showed that the tumour in my pancreas has grown very slightly. Tomorrow I start on folfirinox...

Re: New to all of this
Hi Sammi12. I am so sorry to read your post, you are so young with such a young baby. I was diagnosed in September 2018, my cancer has spread to my liver and my prognosis was extremely poor. I have passed my expiry date by 7 months and I am doing OK. There are some very positive stories out there, t...

Re: Treatment break
Just an update on my chemo break. I had my last chemo at the end of August and the second of the 2 trial vaccines. My last scan was on the 23rd Dec and the results were reported to me by the trial doctors last Tuesday. All remaining lesions are stable, no growth, no reduction and no further spread, ...

Re: Newly diagnosed with Stage 3 locally advanced PC
Hi Val. I was diagnosed last Oct with stage 4, I had 19 rounds of chemo and my main tumour and liver mets have almost disappeared. I also completed a immunotherapy trial in September. I have had no chemo since August and my latest scan suggested that my remaining tumours are stable. Hang on in there...

Re: Treatment break/trial
Just a quick update. Just had chemo number 17 and all is going well, all tumours significantly reduced. I am still waiting to start the trail, there have been a few set backs, trial suspended, scans out of date but hopefully I will get my first vaccine on the 12th August and the 2nd 4 weeks later, I...

I have been accepted onto a immunotherapy trial and will continue with chemo until the trial is complete, this should involve approximately 4 more sessions. My oncologist has been ...
