25/11/2016 James had his Whipple surgery on Thursday at xx, Until 11am that day we weren't sure it would happen because there was not then an available bed in Surgical HDU but one did become available so at about 2pm his surgery was started. Thank you everybody for your help and advice, it is very much appreciated. We live in a very small Wiltshire village and it seems that everybody is looking out for us.
