Re: Is this the beginning of the end?
Dear MJM Welcome to the forum but I’m so sorry that you find yourself here, clearly you’re going through a terribly difficult time with your poor Dad. Hopefully you’ll receive replies from members who understand your situation better than I do (my hubby is still relatively well) but you can also cal...

Re: Lansoprazole with Creon
Hi Matt My husband takes Creon and is prescribed Lansoprazole as an adjunct to the enzymes. We’ve never questioned it but I’ve Googled for you and found these NICE guidelines: https://bnf.nice.org.uk/treatment-summary/exocrine-pancreatic-insufficiency.html “There is limited evidence that acid suppre...

Re: Thanks for sharing your experiences . . .
Dearest Mo I hope by the time you read this that Peter is resting comfortably in his hospice bed and that you are managing to catch your breath after all the unwelcome excitement of the past few days. Thinking of you both and sending my best wishes for some well-deserved peace and calm. Loads of lov...

Andrea, happy new year wishes to you and Adrian too!
May you have plenty more good news and good days in 2018.
Hubby and I were also blessed with many good days over the holidays. Back in the chemo suite today for another round of Gem/Abrax.

Re: Thanks for sharing your experiences . . .
So sorry to read about all the downs of the past week, it sounds ghastly.
Hoping that the 3 of you got a reasonable night’s sleep last night and that today all is calm in the Mo, Peter and Boo household.
And hats off to you Mo, you’re a real trooper!
Lots of love

Re: Usual waiting times for procedures
Hi Robette In the scheme of things, as you say, your diagnosis is very good. But if I were in your situation I'd also be concerned by the advice you've been offered...I've just done some Googling and found articles from eminent institutions that back up the "over 3 cms" cut-off. I also found a recen...

Dear Fiona
Rest assured, at the very worst you’ve caused minor upset to less than a handful of people here. I suspect most of us who post here regularly have unintentionally caused offence from time to time, I know I have.
