Worried

I’ve been back and forth to the doctors for a good 18 months now with various symptoms.

I’ve had an endoscopy. They were looking for an ulcer. Nothing found.

I had a scan. They found some small gall stones.

I have some lumps under my breasts. Lipomas. One on the left side is being removed under a GA.

A liver blood test came back a little high but nothing more being investigated.

Physical symptoms.

Nausea.

Unable to eat large amounts. I do get hungry and find that eating little and regular makes me feel better. So there is only a little weight loss.

I’m very itchy.

I also have lumps on my legs. I was sent to the hospital as the Gp thought they may have been DVTs. Blood test said they were not.

Dreadful pain under my right breast pains around to my back and through my shoulder. This also feels weird. Kind of like insects crawling on my skin. Especially on my back area.

Indigestion and acid up into my throat. (Meds made little difference)

Going to the loo. My stools haven’t been normal for ages. They can be small but floating or massive like cow pats. They’re never solid anymore.

Lots of other things such as night sweats (have put that down to my age, mid 40’s). I burp loads. Also windy the other end!

I’m utterly exhausted. Also a weird thing, I can feel my heart beating. But sometimes it isn’t where my heart is. It’s in my upper chest though.

I apologise for the length of this.

I am not yellow nor do I have sudden weight loss. I have a history of eating disorder (binge eating along with dieting) which means my weight has been up and down for most of my adult life.

The doctor has now said that as tests are coming back clear that this is good. Obviously I do agree with this but the pain in my chest, shoulder and back is awful. The itching is horrible. I’ve had enough of feeling awful. It feels weird when I bend forward. Like there is something there.

Many of these things have been ignored by the doctor.

I have begun a daily food and symptoms diary as when I’ve been to the doctor I don’t have any specifics of that makes sense.

I’m not saying for one minute that I have PC, but I am worried.

Thank you for reading and for any advice you can give me.

Oh, I called the helpline a few months ago and the person I spoke to said the way PC is generally diagnosed is through a CT scan.

Many thanks .

Hello again.

I was wondering if anyone had any answers to the itching? And bloating?

Antihistamines are not working for the itching.

I’m so bloated despite not eating much. So much so my rings were stuck on when I woke up this morning. They were so tight and when I eventually removed them, there is still a red mark there.

I still have all the pains and nausea and my lipomas are prominent and hurt.

I felt so brushed off after my last Gp visit, that I’m scared to go back.

Many thanks

I’m going to the GP tomorrow to demand a CT scan. I’ve recently lost weight. And just the last few days l, the back pain is unbearable.

I had an X-ray as they don’t do CT scans. Awaiting results. My cough is worse. Back ache all the time although not painful enough for medication. I’m itching. I don’t think I’ll get anywhere unless I lose weight or turn yellow. I know I sound a bit mad, but other than the yellow and weight loss, I have all the other symptoms. Here’s hoping I’m just an idiot with anxiety.
