Understanding

As per the Introduction, I have included this topic as having experienced 'good' understanding from a hotel, I thought it was worthwhile adding.


For us, we spent some time over Christmas at the 'Elms Hotel' in Worcester. They have particular cancellation policies. We couldn't get any insurance but explaining this to them, they agreed to hold the room without deposit and to call us back if they needed to. Essentially, they didn't take advantage of us, taking no deposit, were totally compassionate and eventually we were even upgraded and made to feel really special. Trevor was given a very 'understanding' massage - it made him feel considered rather than 'scary'.


So, I think there is a place for 'special' places; those establishments who've gone the extra mile to make us feel special in a very good way.
