As per the Introduction please post here any thoughts, ideas, recommendations on Family-Friendly travel.

Some of us have young families or are the grandest people with younger members: sometimes we want somewhere to go that offers us that chance to either relax and watch or join in or just enjoy. Where are those places? Let's know about them.

I do loads of research and don't know what it's like: they don't include how it is when your partner can't eat, they have swollen limbs or were in pain - I am reading this now and thinking it may come across as insensitive and I apologise if it does but in a way it is the reality and if I could find somewhere that Trevor could relax with his feet up and there was enough for me to entertain the kids and then come back to him, with him knowing that we'd had fun or had watched us having fun, I would be really happy - I may be selfish but I can't believe I am the only parent struggling to maintain everybody's happiness?
