To register with the Pancreatic Cancer UK Forum, click on ‘register’ on the top right hand side of the main forum page. You will need to agree with our terms and conditions and community guidelines to proceed. You will be required to choose a unique username and a password and have a valid email address. For your own protection your username should not include your full name, an email or website address, location of where you live or any other information which could be used to identify you in the ‘real world’. Please don’t use any language that others might find offensive.
We also like to ask our forum users for a little more information including your postcode and your connection to pancreatic cancer. This is so that we can understand a bit more about who is using the forum and ensure that there is awareness of our services across the UK.
Once you have completed all of the required fields, your registration will need to be authorised by a moderator so please be patient if you can't access the forum to post messages immediately. We will endeavour to activate your account within one working day but we sometimes receive hoax registrations so have to check each registration thoroughly in order to filter these out.
If you have any problems registering please email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us what problems you are experiencing.
If you wish to change your username or email address you must inform us by contacting the email address above. We will close your old account before you can re-register.
This is a public website which means that messages posted on the forums or comments posted on the site can be seen by anyone browsing the web.. All messages are indexed by search engines such as Google. This ensures that the site continues to attract new users and the forums remain fresh, but bear this in mind before you go into detail about your diagnosis, treatment or where you live.
