Re: Newly Diagnosed

Hi Rose, So sorry to hear the news about your sister, and the recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer at a young age. It can be very hard to take on board such a diagnosis, and its not unusual to have a whole range of emotions which you are describing. Its difficult to be a "bystander", so to speak, a...

Re: Bloating

Hello Petal, Great news that you have completed your post-op chemo - how fantastic to get through all of that! Did you discuss the bloating at the time of your appointment, or was it not evident then? The bloating could be from a lack of pancreatic enzymes - I presume you are on enzymes? If so, how ...

Re: Result worries

Hi Mohammad, Its likely that the consultant who gave you the results is aware of the EUS request, so if he has stated that it is not necessary, then that's probably the case. Good news that the issues have come back as a cyst - just ensure that you find out what follow up you need now. Kind regards,...

Dear Keith, Your response is most humbling, and of course, it is an honour and privilege to be able to support any of you in a small way. Good to hear things have not been so bad this time around. I hope the oncology appointment goes well on Friday LST. I wonder, LST, whether you might be able to see your gp and explain the pressure and exhau...
