Re: This cruel disease

Oh Keith I am so sorry to read your post. I hope that Kerry picks up and is able to continue with some level of treatment, folifirinox is such a tough treatment. Kerry comes across as being a brave young woman, I wish Kerry, you and your family the strength needed to keep going. Good luck to you all...

Re: Looking for an integrative oncologist in the UK

I cannot help you but am interested in hearing if anyone out there has any advice. I have just completed round 9 of folifirinox, have been referred to the trial you mention (not heard anything) and want to know if there is anything at all that might be off help.

Hi Kate, I hope you are keeping well, unfortunately the conference is full but that said I don't think we could get to London that early.

Re: First folfirinox experience

Hi Kate, sounds like things are going well for you and I hope you get the chemo sorted soon. The trial is immunotherapy at Liverpool, my oncologist has spoken to them and was told that I was a good candidate but then my papers never got to the right department so had to be resent. We are in London o...

Re: First folfirinox experience

I am so pleased things are going so well. I am so unsure about what to do next, I have been referred for a trial but that was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard anymore. I would have to self fund nanoknife which makes the decision quite difficult as does losing Ericka. My tumours have significantly re...

Re: This cruel disease

Hi Keith, thank you for your update on Kerry, it is truly a difficult journey and I am so sorry that she has been unwell with folfirinox. Although the side effects for me are minimal compared to what other seem to suffer I am struggling but I am determined to finish the 12 cycles. My last chemo was ...

Re: This cruel disease

Hi Keith. Just a quick update, first things first, how is Kerry doing? I hope the chemo is going well, it is indeed a tough regime but I am sure her positivity and your support is keeping her going. I had my scan results last week which are pretty positive, my main tumour has shrunk by just over 50%...

update/advice

Hi, today I received my midway scan results and although there is a cure they are good. The tumour on my pancreas has reduced by 50% and my liver metastases has significantly reduced in size. Although I am well in myself I am finding that the chemo is taking it toil and I am feeling unwell for longe...
