Re: Time

Hi Fairy, No it is ok, you have not scared me, only this God awful disease does that! I wouldn't say I am scared, although moments of dread do go through your mind when you read others experiences. However equally so the words of stories also bring you comfort and hope. You were a star for your mum,...

Re: Potential pancreatic cancer, help please!

I would have thought the CT scan would have shown up anything worrying. You can get someone else to look at the CT scan to give you a second opinion? Or just pay privately for a second opinion scan?

Re: Time

So sorry for your loss fairy. I doubt I will be any consolation to you knowing that there is no more physical pain anymore! I know you will be going through huge emotional pain, but please try and take some comfort from your mum's relief from her pain. Again so sorry for your loss, I know I will fac...

Re: Folfirinox Round 7

Keep strong Toodotty! You are doing an amazing job with all the battles you continually have to fight! But you do so with little complaint. You are my little inspiration board! I am doing relatively ok on round 4, but from keeping a diary I know I usually have my bad days between days 6-8 OF my cycl...

Re: Folfirinox Round 7

Good luck with round 8 Toodotty! It is great that we can all be of different help for each other in different ways.
I know I don't offer much legal help with letters of concern/complaint. But believe me when I say that I think of my new chemo friends a lot.

Re: CA19-9 importance?

Hi Danny and toodotty, I think they are going to make a appointment with my oncologist regarding the results as I'd seen him when I was an inpatient for 3 weeks, and he said we'd see how it went next time. So maybe they will have to change it! It is so hard to know if it is growing just by how you f...

Re: Just my story....Michaela1.x

Hi guys, A quick update as I haven't been on the forum for ages due to ill health! I've just been released from hospital (prison) after being there for just over 3 weeks! Couldn't get the nausea and vomiting under control. It was strange as the sickness started just before I was due round 3. I was s...

That's great Kate! I still Haven't drove yet, but I'm sure I will when I feel ready. It's sounds reassuring you are having a better 3rd session than the first two. You keep smiling too.x
